Marjane Satrapi

Marjane Satrapi was an Iranian-French writer, artist and filmmaker. Her autobiographical graphic novel Persepolis became an acclaimed animated feature that she co-wrote and co-directed with Vincent Paronnaud, winning the Jury Prize at Cannes and receiving an Academy Award nomination.
