Elizabeth Ito

Elizabeth Ito is an Emmy-winning animator, writer, and director known for her distinctive, deeply human approach to screen storytelling. She created Netflix’s Peabody Award-winning City of Ghosts, an animated documentary series exploring the histories and communities of Los Angeles. She won an Emmy for her supervising direction on Adventure Time and created the acclaimed short film festival-favorite Welcome to My Life. Her work also includes storyboard artistry on The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
