Don Hertzfeldt is an American animator, writer and independent filmmaker known for Rejected, It’s Such a Beautiful Day and the World of Tomorrow series. He is a two-time Academy Award nominee. Paper Trail is his latest film and winner of the Cristal for a Short Film at Annecy 2026.
