Boys Go to Jupiter starts with a boy in suburban Florida. Billy 5000, an ambitious teen, feels stuck in the slack between Christmas and New Years, surrounded by his eccentric friends and oddball clients. When he finds a gelatinous (and adorable) alien creature he is suddenly thrust in the middle of forces much greater than both himself and the world he knows.
The one-of-a-kind visual style that Julian Glander has already established in his short form, video game and illustrations rises to the cinematic challenge with Boys Go to Jupiter. The glossy yet tactile visuals are accompanied by lo-fi (and high-laughs) musical numbers and an all-star voice cast of alt-comedy darlings.
